Daniel woke up early this morning and is going to drive Mme Jo Beaver to the airport in Guatemala city today. She is a registered nurse that has been serving the medical needs of the people here in Lela Obraje village for three months. During her stay, a medical clinic has been built in the village, lots of medcine has been donated, and the people have really began to trust her and the work she is doing for the Lord. It is a blessing to see her serve. Lord willing, she will be returing to Guatemala soon.
Yesterday, I sang with the worship band at church, and it was so much fun! This was my first time to sing in the church this year, and I have never sang with the band...I LOVED it. Daniel said that he just knew I was going to hit the piano player in the back of the head because I was bouncing around so much! :) But, praise the Lord, after three services, there were no injuries. I sang Hosanna by Hillsong, in Spanish, by myself, and I attemped to sing the rest the best I could. The band, NEON, is who played, and they are so good! (they have some videos on www.youtube.com. Just type in NEONMUSICBAND. "Viva Guatemala", which means Live Guatamala, is the song on the videos.) Anyway, it was a lot of fun, and I was privileged to sing with them.
Matthew 28:18-20 "Jesus came and told His disciples, "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Blessings,
Brandi
